We are seeking an Accounting Student, for our Winnipeg district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 4 months starting in September 2023.
Responsibilities
As an Accounting Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
- Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Inter-company invoicing.
- Courier and phone costing.
- Running and updating reports.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Visa card reconciliations.
- Preparing accounts receivable report.
- Weekly cheque printing.
- Client progress billings.
- Subcontract administration.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary accounting program.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly valued.
