For full details about this varied and rewarding role, please see attached job description, but some of the responsibilities include This is a varied and busy department, the job role will involve in-depth reception duties in a variety of locations within the Radiology Department. You will also be expected to work in the appointments office, answering the phones, making appointments using computerised systems and following guided instructions when booking different modalities, developing a confident and positive patient focused care approach Determine patients individual requirements in terms of any special needs and transport requests and arrange these when required To respond to patients questions, concerns and complaints over the telephone or in person, resolving issues with them where appropriate and escalating these where necessary Radiology clinics are administered and maintained effectively using the Cris computerised system. Appointments within a variety of Radiology specialities are arranged appropriately, each having their own booking protocols to be followed accurately Entries into the computerised systems are concise and accurate To maintain confidentiality of information relating to patients and staff at all times Ensure communication is maintained with Senior Managers, Consultants, nursing and medical staff and any other service users in order to provide an effective service to patients This job profile is not a definitive or an exhaustive list but identifies the key responsibilities and tasks of the post holder.
