An international trust and corporate services firm are searching for a Financial Accountant to join their hybrid team based in the City of London, in playing a key role through driving their corporate services side of the business. This is an opportunity best suited for someone part-qualified from a practice background with a few years of solid experience.

Financial Accountant Duties:

• Generate monthly management accounts for multiple entities, adhering to UK GAAP standards.
• Upload monthly management accounts to Cognos consolidations software for streamlined reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors from respective companies and prepare necessary audit files as requested.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 guidelines.
• Facilitate VAT registration for clients and review VAT returns prepared by Junior Financial Account Managers.
• Generate on-demand reports and conduct analysis as requested by the Client.
• Attend board meetings when necessary to provide insights and updates.
• Work closely with the UK cash management team to manage client payment administration effectively.
• Review and update existing accounting practices and procedures to align with any changes in accounting standards.
• Provide recommendations, suggestions, and solutions to enhance services.

Financial Accountant Profile:

• Part Qualified Accountant.
• Solid knowledge of management accounts production under UK GAAP (FRS102).
• Experience producing financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• A credible individual with intellectual ability and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent English language skills.
