OPED UK Ltd is a subsidiary to the successful and trusted manufacturer and supplier OPED GmbH in Bavaria. We are providers of innovative, proprietary treatment solutions for lower limb conditions. Covering clinical needs in orthopaedics, trauma, diabetes and vascular conditions. We are proud to support our customers with a gold standard of service at every level of our business. So whether it's the treatment of Achilles tendon ruptures or DVT prevention, OPED UK will be there to ensure the best outcomes for the clinician and the patient.
Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for the logistics of the warehouse.
- Oversee & carry out all operations in the warehouse, such as receiving, warehousing, customs, ordering, distribution, and maintenance, to warrant premium customer service and avoid backorders at any time as well as managing stock takes.
- Set up all necessary steps to ensure product availability, this includes all processes from order, transport/logistics and customs until receipt of the goods in the warehouse.
- Process customer orders and ensure all orders go out on same day.
- Liaise with our courier and other suppliers
- Full responsibility for VADOplex product line – Service/Maintenance, stock control/Supply chain
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with our colleagues in Germany.
- To be the Health & Safety Representative & First Aider
What we look for in you
- Experience in warehouse management is preferred but not essential, however ability and willingness to learn is paramount.
- Experience with WMS system an advantage (SAP/SAGE/Navision
- Well organized personality with good planning and communication skills.
- Must be a personable and approachable person with great interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, forward thinking and self motivated.
- Problem solving ability, initiative thinking & solution oriented behaviour
- Must be customer orientated "Customers come first attitude" we aim to exceed their expectations
- Understand complex processes and their interactions in the system
- Ability to keep overview even in stressful situations (multi-tasking)
- Must be Self-motivated, team player and support the team spirit
- Competent in basic office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
