ACCOUNTANT
Julia Evans Accountants Ltd are looking for an accountant to work within their well-established & friendly accountancy firm. We provide excellent services to a wide range of clients both locally and nationally. Due to continued growth within the business, the company is looking to add to their team. Full or part-time role
The successful candidate for this role would be someone who is ideally either ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified. Candidates with several years' experience in a similar role without these qualifications will also be considered. A minimum of 3 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is preferred.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Year-end Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
- Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
- Personal & Partnership Tax Returns
- Monthly management accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
- Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks & Xero.
Candidates Attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
- Qualified ACCA or ACA or AAT qualification OR prior experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with QuickBooks/Xero or similar cloud-based accountancy software.
