PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this position is responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing journal entries and various reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and investigating issues associated with semi-annual inventory counts
- Reviewing and analyzing period end margins for all stores for a perishable department
- Preparing account reconciliations
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
- Analyzing financial statements
- Preparing journal entries and other accounting duties as required.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate level (2nd - 3rd year)
- Knowledge of general ledger systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications.
