The Law Office of Farmer & Klopfer, LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This opportunity is specific to both our Waldorf, MD and Upper Marlboro, MD Offices. This is a full-time opportunity. 1+ years of accounting experience, and experience using QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately monthly.
- Assist with analyzing financial statements monthly and report on variances.
- Journal entries/Use of QuickBooks
- Review business expenses and corporate credit card charges
- Maintain Balance Sheet and monthly journal entries.
- Prepare financial Statements, schedules, and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles.
Qualifications:
- Have a positive and collaborative approach to working with clients, colleagues, and staff.
- Have an appreciation for teamwork.
- Have strong organizational skills and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Past QuickBooks experience
Education/Experience:
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required
- Accounting experience is required
Job Type: Full-time. In Office. Possibility of a hybrid home and office position with time and depending on circumstances.
