developsWe are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist AP/AR to join our team. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a range of accounting tasks and be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The role develop and maintains strong customer relationships and acts as a liaison between the customer, vendor, and sales team. This is an on-site position in Chelsea, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Project Billing / Invoicing. Timely, accurate and efficient production, sharing and receipt-confirmation of client invoices and supporting billing information.
- Accounts Receivable / Collections. Regularly communicate with clients regarding open/past-due invoices to insure timely payment/collection.
- Finance Data Management. Accurate and timely recording of requisite finance data in company database/reporting tools to support month close, internal BI/reporting and audit compliance.
- Provide support to the Financial Controller as requested.
- Provide support to General Manager with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
· Associate degree (B.A. or B.S. preferred)
· 2-3 years accounting AP/AR experience
· Proficiency with Quickbooks is required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
· Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
· Effectively prioritize workload and multitask various projects simultaneously
· Strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
