We are partnering with our global manufacturing client to recruit for a Senior Financial Accountant after a period of growth and change.

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for management of all statutory and tax compliance of the operating divisions of the UK and UK holding companies.

Responsibilities for the Senior Financial Accountant –

• Accounting for, internal and statutory reporting of four holding companies

• Consolidation and statutory reporting of TGA Industries, going concern and impairment assessment.

• Drafting quarterly VAT return by using data provided by each operating division.

• Drive Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) reporting of TGA

• Drive regulatory reporting (e.g. Gender Pay Gap, Business Payments Practices, Modern Slavery Act)

• Consolidation of insurance information for Opco’s and act as coordinator for renewal process annually

Experience and Skills required for the Senior Financial Accountant –

• Thoroughness and attention to detail.

• Able to learn new processes quickly

• Self-starter and adaptable

• Good prioritization and ability to work to tight deadlines

• Good interpersonal skills across opcos, functions and people levels

Educational Background for the Senior Financial Accountant –

• The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance (i.e. ACA, ACCA qualified), has worked in Audit Practice

• Due to the nature of the role you will be need advanced excel skills/knowledge (Power BI, pivot tables, lookups)
