Broster Buchanan are working with a market leading FMCG company to recruit for a Financial Accountant to be based in their head office in Merseyside.

As Financial Accountant you will report to the UK Finance Director and be responsible for consolidation and statutory support for multiple local submission and statutory accounts.

Key responsibilities will include:

Consolidation of monthly UK accounts including Income Statement and Balance Sheet
Preparation of UK statutory accounts under FRS102
Budget & Forecast consolidation
Corporation tax computation preparation
VAT compliance
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Carbon Footprint reporting to Group Finance
Ad hoc reporting for other stakeholders including banking, pension trustees, Group Finance team
Commercial support to UK Commercial FD at month end

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, have strong attention to detail and experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
