Sewell Wallis are working with a reputable business based on the outskirts of Sheffield (S25), who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their well established team.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, forward thinking team, working in a fast paced role, with the opportunity to gain exposure to numerous areas of their finance function.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Processing invoices
  • Handling purchase ledger queries from suppliers
  • Preparing purchase ledger monthly reports and checking statements
  • Maintenance of filing system
  • Assisting with the payroll function
  • Assisting sub contractors
  • Providing assistance with job costing


Person Specification:
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Strong skills on Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work accurately under pressure
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues
  • Experience using Sage is desirable
