North is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a client-focused, proactive leader with a knack for understanding the bigger picture and ensuring all the necessary components are in place. As a North Medical Spa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing spa locations, including client care, staff management, and operations, while also driving sustainable sales. Excellent communication and attention-to-detail skills are crucial in this role, as is the ability to provide an exceptional level of client care and demonstrate a passion for empowering others in their roles.
Responsibilities:
- Ambassador for North Medical Spa in all interactions with staff and guests
- Manage all staff relations concerns, create schedules that support the business needs/ budgets while accommodating, when possible, individual availability/ requests, identify performance gaps and support staff with access to resources; triage and resolve staff concerns, and bring forward high level issues to Owner with ideas and recommendations.
- Create and maintain continuous training plan to ensure all staff are up to date on all new products and services;
- Collaborate with HR on all hiring needs; create and execute onboarding plans for all new hires that integrate them into the culture and expedite the learning curve to get them ready in role
- Foster strong staff morale through individual check-ins, arranging informative and engaging meetings, as well as incentive planning
- Prepare Injector scheduling, manage engagement and performance through check-ins
- Oversee Client Care program, including staffing, complaint resolution and membership programs
- Work cross-functionally to support with executing events, campaigns, and special projects.
- Review financial scorecard and identify areas to improve sales
- Regularly meet with Client Care, Injector and Medical Aesthetics team to discuss sales and revenue goals
- Regularly communicate with GM on all topics related to Spa, including proposed solutions to issues, and recommendations for continuous growth and business development.
- Any other duties as required and assigned as the role evolves
- 2-3 years experience working in a management role; preferably within the Spa or Medical industry
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong aptitude towards customer service
- Keen sense for accuracy and efficiency
- Obsessed about details
