Job description
Duties:
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Sales ledger – Credit control, following up with debtor queries and chasing overdue payments.
- Purchase ledger – Coding and inputting invoices, supplier statements.
- Credit card and expenses management.
- Petty cash management.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with month end, year end and audits.
- General office admin duties, i.e, phone, mail, post office, stationery orders.
- Importing data from in-house sales system and updating xero
- Assisting with the stocktakes
- Fixed asset register maintenance
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Studying towards AAT would be advantageous.
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- A positive can-do attitude every day, happy to get involved with all areas of the business.
- Advance working knowledge of Excel is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
