Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a proactive and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join a market-leading manufacturing business based in Middleton (M24). - Location: Middleton
- Salary: £23,000 - £26,000
- Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, & 8.30am – 4.30pm Fridays

As the Office Administrator, your day-to-day duties would include:
- Bank account postings and reconciliations
- Produce daily cashflow report and submit to Commercial Director
- Send daily customers paid email to sales team and Directors
- Process and email sales ledger invoices to clients
- Update sales figures and sales margin reports (post required journals and chase up missing/incorrect cost of sale figures)
- Monitor incoming emails and act on enquiries/requests
- Upload purchase invoices to portal and post
- Distribute purchase invoices in query and/or requiring manual authorisation
- Process new sales ledger account applications and update changes to credit limits in Sage
- Chase overdue debts
- Upload sales invoices to ABN portal
- Purchase ledger payment run
- Produce and send overdue debt report to Commercial Director
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Produce checklist of invoices required every month
- Month end bank account reconciliations
- Email customer statements
- Report on any accounts over 60 days terms on ABN and instruct solicitors to issue 7 day letters if required
- Place overdue accounts on hold
The required traits, skills, and background to be considered for this Office Administrator role are:
- Experience within accounts / finance would be desirable
- Excellent IT skills - advanced in all Microsoft Applications
- Sage 200 experience preferable but not essential
- Works efficiently and calmly under pressure
- Self-confident
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
