Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
- Administrative duties such as emailing clients regarding reminders
- Acting as a liason between Maximus Solutions and clients
- Monitoring and processing of purchases/track records
- Preparing and verifying customer invoices, processing credit cards and sales receipts
- Speaking with customers to collect overdue invoices
- Organizing financials
- Performing Accounts Payable duties such as billing
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- At least 1 year experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting
- High level of interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Detail oriented
- Must demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Able to resolve complex administrative problems independently
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Strong knowledge and extensive use of Microsoft Office especially Excel
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
