An Accounts Assistant is urgently needed for a global company within the events industry based in Worcestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience or an interest in accounting to join an organisation with a wide international scope and grow their experience in the field.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts ledgers, generating invoices, credit notes and taking payments
- Generating reports, dealing with data entry tasks and sorting office deliveries
- Supporting local teams with ad-hoc duties
- Other administrative tasks as required
About you:
The ideal applicant will be organised, discreet and will have strong administrative/numerical skills. It is a great opportunity for either a recent accounting graduate or a candidate with previous experience in a similar role to be part of a global company with a fantastic working environment and great benefits.
Profile:
- Previous experience in a similar role or an interest in accounting
- Previous experience in Xero Accounting Software would be an advantage but not mandatory
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to work on a tight deadline
- Required to be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Must work in an organised manner and have good communication skills
