Call Assist specialises in providing 24/7 vehicle assistance services, primarily following a breakdown or accident. We reach our customers fast by working with our networks of independent Recovery Operators situated throughout the UK and Europe.
Call Assist works with many companies providing a rescue service on their behalf, either behind their brand or under the Call Assist Rescue brand. To help us provide the very best service, we are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts department in our Colchester office.
Job purpose:
As a Senior Accounts Assistant your role will focus on providing key support to our Accounts Manager.
Responsibilities include:-
- Setting up and maintaining client accounts for billing purposes.
- Preparation and circulation of weekly and monthly debtor’s reports.
- Ensuring all debtors and un-allocated cash is up to date.
- Accurately administering policyholder claims in line with the policy entitlements and agreed SLA’s.
- Resolve any payment disputes.
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email.
- Perform any Ad hoc duties to support the wider Finance / Accounts team.
Required Skills:-
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and highly organised.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Minimum GCSE Level C grades in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Working Hours
The core hours for this role are 9am – 5:30pm.
This role will initially be based in our St Peters Court Colchester Office, however, once fully trained this role can allow for hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week based in the Office.
