The Account Manager will be a highly motivated, strategic and commercially aware colleague who will oversee the commercial relationship with our supplier customer base. The role will sit within the Customer Impact Function of our Climate Action Team, which focuses on supporting and consulting suppliers to achieve their carbon emission reductions. This is an exciting role, suiting someone with a deep understanding of client behaviour to increase and report revenue within a customer success/account management environment. This role will appeal to candidates seeking to work in the sustainability and technology sector, for a young, growing B2B SaaS business that serves manufacturers around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for ensuring that M2030 meets its annual supplier renewal target of 90%.
- Accountable for forecasting, monitoring and reporting all CAT commercial metrics to CAT leadership and the wider business - e.g. ARR, churn risk portfolio and close renewals.
- Own and design the supplier renewals strategy and process to be used by the Climate Action Team.
- Generate regular reports on renewal performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement to decrease churn.
- Manage the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of commercial customer interactions and transactions in Salesforce.
- Create automation of workflows where possible and implement external software solutions to support the process where needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to align strategies and ensure a seamless renewal/upselling process.
- Create upsell playbooks and documentation for any newly released M2030 products/ services within the Climate Action Team.
- Create and hold trainings for the Climate Action Team on renewals and upselling strategies.
- Support the Climate Action Team in gathering and analysing customer feedback and use data to gain insights into customer satisfaction and potential upsell opportunities.
- Support the development of a customer health and churn score.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5 years' experience of account management, customer success, sales or customer operations in a SaaS environment
- A bachelor's degree, or equivalent, ideally in business, marketing, psychology or environmental science.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in developing renewal strategies and customer health scores.
- Experience in understanding client needs and motivations to develop long-term relationships.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using data analysis tools and creating reports.
- Strong understanding of software solutions and technology trends.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Experience of leading cross-functional projects
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with constant change.

Job summary:
Location: Hybrid. Offices in Oxford and London, UK.
Remuneration: £35-38k dependent on experience + commission
Tenure: Full time / permanent
