Construction Certification is a booking agent and training provider for the construction industry. We are a fast growing technology and e-commerce company, offering a platform for construction industry related qualifications and training, to help people that work on construction sites in the UK.

We're looking for someone to start as a book-keeper on a part time basis. The role will be for 16-20 hours per week over 3-4 days from home, with equipment provided. The work times are flexible around school runs or other commitments.

Great attention to detail, organisation and a good speed in completing tasks is essential for this role. A successful candidate would enjoy a busy work environment. Your role will mainly be from home but you may have to come in to the office or attend meetings when needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of atleast 3 years in a computer based role as a Bookkeeper with AAT, equivalent or higher qualifications. They will also have experience using a known accounting package (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks etc).

You will be working directly for the company owners and directors so discretion and confidentiality are extremely important in this role.

The successful candidate will undertake the following main duties and responsibilities

• Quarterly VAT.
• Creation of monthly internal management accounts.
• Provide forward view on cashflow.
• Banking and payments.
• Invoice and expense reconciliation.
• Managers meeting minute taking.
• Collecting financial or numerical data for directors/owners.
• Creating reports from the accounting software for managers.
• Liaising with Accountant.
• Completing general administration tasks as required.

• Willing to undertake any other relevant duties as may reasonably be requested.
• IT skills including Microsoft Teams (google teams), office applications, emails and basic CRM’s.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage time effectively.

Scope of the role: this role will be on a full time basis with laptop provided.
