Job Description: Dynamic Account Manager for Sports Kit Supplier
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Dynamic Account Manager to join our team at VSN Sport. As an integral part of our sales and account management team, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our existing clients while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on sports organisations, teams, and clubs, ensuring their satisfaction with our teamwear products and services while maximising sales and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sports organisations, teams, and clubs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Regularly communicate with clients to address inquiries, concerns, and provide updates on products and services.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to existing clients, tailoring solutions to their specific requirements.
2. Business Development:
- Conduct market research to identify potential new clients within the sports industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company's customer base.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to generate leads and build business relationships.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals by effectively promoting our teamwear products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and provide valuable insights from client interactions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
4. Product Expertise:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our products, their features, and benefits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and advancements in teamwear technology to effectively position our products in the market.
5. Order Management:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing, production, and delivery of sports kits to clients.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the production team to manage stock availability.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in CRM systems.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights for management review.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Representative in the sports industry or B2B sales environment.
- Passion for sports and a strong understanding of sports organisations, teams, and their requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and trade shows as needed.
