Account Manager
UCT – Cambridge Fluid Solutions
We are the semiconductor industry’s one-stop solution for gas delivery solutions, from initial design to final shipment to customers.
We are looking for a positive, confident individual with strategic vision, able to lead both customer and internal stakeholders on key initiatives. Our Account Manager will develop and maintain our most important accounts. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow the accounts within our niche manufacturing organisation.
You will work closely with your team, other departments, and senior management to ensure continued, exceptional service to our customers to improve the overall customer experience. Working with other business functions you will lead in delivering sustainable sales growth plans.
You will need a technical background and experience in managing accounts in a manufacturing environment, preferably working with large OEMs and within defined processes and procedures. You will be required to understand and work within our customers procedures and immerse yourself in these to become a subject matter expert over time.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure the long-term development and retention of our strategic customers in the UK and Europe. You will be the key point of contact and conduit into the business.
· Manage the customer and the customer’s interactions with other UCT departments to ensure the customer feels supported.
· Working closely with multiple internal business departments to maintain and further develop the relationships with the accounts.
· Understand the way the customer perceives us and identify any mismatches in perception on both sides developing into a mutually recognised partnership and a degree of trust.
· Move UCT to a position that the customer considers UCT as a skilled partner that can bring value and technological advantage to their business and not just as a vendor.
· Understand any issues they are encountering and look for ways to resolve those by making improvements to our existing products/services or consider developing new ones.
Person Specification:
· Good understanding of commercial aspects in an OEM environment and negotiation skills, will help.
· Experience in managing accounts with demonstrable growth of such accounts.
· Experience in a technical industry, preferably in fluid or gas management systems, but not essential as training and mentoring will be provided.
· Good relationship building skills internally and externally.
· Ability to travel to Europe.
· Ability to read technical drawings and project briefs to understand scope of words and opportunities.
· Able to multi-task – good time management and analytical skills
· Ability to understand and discuss customer requirements with support to provide a bespoke solution.
· Good presentation skills and able to present to all levels of management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
