Responding to existing customer queries and managing their accounts effectively.- Managing our existing portfolio and developing key accounts as well as the ability to attract new business opportunities to develop your portfolio and pipeline.
- Upselling, cross-selling & developing the accounts to ensure maximum profitability.
- Building lasting relationships with Key Stakeholders.
- Understanding client needs and requirements and road mapping future solutions.
- Negotiating new contract and payment terms.
- Building, managing, and forecasting a solid 3-month pipeline.
- Liaising with our Service Delivery team to ensure that the customer requirements are fulfilled.
Who/What will I be working with?
You will be working with a small and friendly Sales team, working closely with our Account Managers across the group and liaising with Telecom & IT Engineers primarily within our Stafford, Preston & Carlisle Offices.
You will be liaising with our customers, predominantly via the phone and face to face. You also be confident with email and written communication
What do I need?
- As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers daily, then your communication and customer service skills must be very strong. A good work ethic and level of professionalism and a desire to develop your skills will also be required. You will pride yourself in delivering outstanding customer service and developing long term business relationships with all of our customers. You will have well developed negotiation and persuasion skills.
- You will have past experience of managing large customers within the public sector, and if you have been involved in tendering processes before this will really stand you in good stead for success.
- You will, of course be passionate about working within the Telecoms & IT Sector, ideally with previous knowledge of selling within an IT or Telecoms environment. A good knowledge of relevant technologies including VOIP, Unified Communications and Cloud Services, Microsoft and Linux technologies will stand you in good stead. It will be hugely advantageous if you have worked with Splice Com products before, however full training will be provided
- You will have previous Account Management experience and will have demonstrable understanding of the sales process.
- You will be happy to work autonomously and are organised when managing your own workload. You will be required to attend our customers premises where necessary, and so you will need to have a full UK driving license.
- You will be familiar with using CRM systems to build and manage your pipelines effectively.
- You will have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain composed when working under pressure.
