WHAT’S THE ROLE?
- Reporting to and support the Group Account Director, you will be confident in your ability to manage your own projects, asking for help and working together across projects when needed.
- Be the go-to point across each project you manage, this will include taking briefs from the client and managing their expectations.
- Writing the brief; briefing the creative agency; ensuring all departments are managed and kept in the loop
- Deliver the campaign on time and on budget and retaining the client’s innate trust in you.
- Work closely with our client’s third parties to deliver on-going CRM programmes and ad-hoc campaigns across email, print and in-car messaging.
- Manage your time effectively; ensure regular touch points throughout the day with your line manager and the wider team
- Be proactive in managing all client relationships remotely via video-conferencing, and face to face
WHAT DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT?
- Ideally you will already have experience at Account Manager level, with experienced gained within an agency environment with experience in handling end-to-end marketing campaigns
- Good knowledge of core processes for campaign development across these channels – from brief interrogation to final creative output
- Become the client’s first port of call
- People person – with the ability to build a good relationship with the client, agency partners and internal team
- Enthusiasm for driving the client’s business forward with proven ability to own and grow client relationships
- Professional, confident and energetic with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and strong process-driven approach to client services
- Resourcefulness and solution-orientated when things don’t go to plan – ability to think on your feet
- CRM, testing and data experience preferred, with experience in personalised marketing communications (DM and email) essential
- Good knowledge of agency process and working with Planning and Creative departments
- Proactive with the ability to pick up campaigns, problem solve and present practical solutions.
- Solution orientation and drive to make things happen
- Influencing skills – ability to work in partnership with clients and interagency partners as well as manage internal relationships effectively
- High level of organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple client contacts and projects
- Resourcefulness and solution-orientated when things don’t go to plan – ability to think on your feet
