The PR team at PG ONE represents exceptional brands that are at the forefront of their sectors. Our expertise is to help clients discover their best stories to help shape their reputations and relationships. We work across a variety of sectors and accounts (from health care to fem care; oral care to baby care), helping clients to be more famous and interesting.

You will be key day-to-day contact for our clients, tasked with developing strong client relationships and having a solid understanding of their businesses. A core member of the team you will be responsible for successfully managing delivery of key communications and influencer programmes across a number of accounts.
It is vital that you have a strong consumer or ethical healthcare background, including;
- Able to understand/interpret and credibly communicate clinical data, peer reviewed publications and scientific product benefits data, making it understandable and relevant for both the consumer and HCP audiences
- Building and maintaining relationships with HCPs & influencers
- Understanding the channels and opportunities to drive our scientific communications forward i.e Congress, direct to professional etc.
Role responsibilities include;
Account Management
- A key day-day contact for our clients
- Ability to work in a small ‘core’ team of 3-4 people and take ownership for own projects and deliverables
- Actively develop client proposals with support and guidance from senior colleagues
- Developing content / assets for a health professional audience including; leave behind materials and presentations to support the sales team
- Review scientific literature to identify key facts and statements that can be supported
- Comfortable with scientific referencing of documents
- Oversee the implementation of campaigns, including client activities such as media events, seminars, workshops, round tables, content creation, partnerships, competitions and product launches
- Drafting materials for client programmes including strategic launch plans, press releases, media advisories, influencer briefs, contracts, interview briefing notes, agendas, logistics documents and media reports
- Media sell-in of stories to consumer health and professional audiences
- Attending client meetings and calls as required
- Ensuring status reports and campaign evaluations are completed and shared in a timely manner
- Building relationships with internal PG ONE colleagues, actively participating in internal meetings (alongside and stepping in for the Account Directors as required)
Financial Management
- Work alongside Account Directors to help manage budgets, staffing and servicing levels
- Helping to ensure that clients are invoiced correctly and budgets and expenditure closely tracked
- Ensuring expenses are submitted correctly and on time
- Managing your time across clients and in line with the staff resourcer
Client Management
- You will be a key day-to-day contact for clients, working closely with them to deliver campaigns on time and within budget
- You will be responsible for identifying any client/ budget/ team issues in a timely manner and working with your Account Directors to resolve
- You will be a source of knowledge, ensuring that clients are kept abreast of current industry events and news
Team Management
- Schedule and host regular meetings with the account team (and with wider experts where applicable) to ensure campaigns are progressing on time and budget
- Responsible for motivating and mentoring junior team members, and leading by example
- Helping to ensure existing and new team members are effectively inducted, trained, developed and motivated to deliver the best work for our clients
Strategic Thinking
- Assisting with developing strategies and contributing strategic insight into the handling of client issues and crisis
- Building relationships with and leveraging PG ONE’s internal experts in order to upsell services to existing clients across the business
- Helping to present strategy and plans at client and team meetings
- Actively generate ideas for client proposals
Agency Ambassador
- You will act as an ambassador for the division and for PG ONE as a whole by proactively developing relationships - both internally and externally - to help raise PG ONE’s profile.
- You will support local teams across the UK and internationally where relevant, ensuring they manage local client relationships and deliver best-in-class work in line with the PG ONE standards.
Required skills
- Solid PR / Communications agency experience, ideally working with health brands on European and Global programmes
- Experience in similar roles within a large communications agency environment and working across large accounts; will entertain smaller businesses and agencies depending on skillset
- Experience at managing multi-stake holder accounts
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Experience in brand building communications (e.g. brand design strategy & toolkit creation)
- Ability to add value and make a real difference
- High energy and able to multi-task, with a real ability to quickly prioritise across a number of projects
- Ability to work in an agile manner and adapt to changing requests
- Excellent written English
