Morrison Hershfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager - Critical Facilities to join our mission critical facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing client accounts and developing new business opportunities within the digital infrastructure industry. The Account Manager will work in partnership with the operations team to ensure Morrison Hershfield meets the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing long-term relationships with clients.
This position can be fully remote but ideally near one of our US offices (Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, Baltimore, San Diego, or San Francisco).
- Manage existing client accounts and develop new business opportunities.
- Support project teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints and help find solutions to their issues; maintaining a positive relationship between both parties for future business growth.
- Manage processes and deliverables within the team.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed goals.
- Identify potential clients and engage them to understand their needs.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success,
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
- Prepare quarterly forecasting reports and updates on account status.
- Travel may be required up to 50% depending on project workload.
- 3+ years of experience in project or account management, preferably in the data center or engineering consulting industry.
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining and developing client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with CRM software is an asset.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
