Job title: Account Manager
Location: Remote
Kortext was founded to empower the next generation of difference-makers through engaged, connected teaching and Learning. In a little over five years, we became the UK's leading personal learning platform and supplier of digital textbooks to universities across the country and around the world. We continue seeing large-scale growth as the need for online teaching and Learning increases rapidly.
More than 2,000 universities around the world use the Kortext platform. In addition, we host over 2 million digital books from over 4,500 publishers, providing students and academics with a seamless connection to the required course content embedded with innovative study tools to increase engagement and accessibility.
Our Role
The Customer Account Manager works collaboratively and cross-functionally with sales and operational teams to manage our existing client base, provide implementation and training and identify new growth opportunities with customers.
The account manager reviews and analyses customer data in order to craft account plans that drive engagement and reach retention and revenue targets as well as being responsible for managing the day to day needs of the customer. The role is home based with the expectation of travel to monthly/quarterly on-site customer review meetings if required.
Key responsibilities
Manage a book of named accounts acting as primary point of contact for the customer.
Create account plans to drive engagement and retention in conjunction.
Report on effectiveness of campaigns and activity.
Implement best practices to help customers recognise the value of Kortext tools and solutions.
Provide opportunity leads for revenue growth for the sales team.
Evaluate and monitor overall customer health and provide insight to internal stakeholders
Deliver training sessions both in person and face to face.
Continually develop own market, product and competitor knowledge and provide feedback to sales, marketing and product teams.

Maintain all customer data and interactions in Salesforce, generate reports and metrics
Batchelor’s degree level or directly related year for year experience
4 years account management experience
