Senior Account Manager- AirFinance Journal – New York

About the Role
This role will be based Delinian’s New York office reporting to the AFJ Head of Sales. As an Account Manager you will have responsibility for selling to a defined territory across North America. This is a hybrid role with both account management and new business (upsell and cross sell) responsibility however the focus is very much on growth via delivering greater value to an existing account base and identifying and developing new opportunities within those clients.
Strong relationship management skills are required to identify problems and provide solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with key decision makers from an existing client base to maximize revenue, drive retention, and deliver client satisfaction
- Prospect new contacts and create demand for the AFJ's products and services by raising our profile with the customer.
- Present AFJ products over the phone and face to face to demonstrate value against identified problems and workflows
- Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account and deliver annual growth on a book of business in excess of $1m.
- Communicate client feedback to staff and management team to feed and influence our product roadmap
- Be able to attend the NYC office for a minimum of 1 day per week
Qualifications/Skills
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent experience of leading and negotiating sales agreements as well as an understanding of a consultative sales cycle.
- Experience selling into the finance market, ideally Data Sales or SAAS
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and influencing skills
- Around 3-4 years’ experience in Subscription Sales
- Ability to travel for events and occasional face to face targeted meetings
- Relevant industry experience and/or relevant language skills would be an advantage but are not a necessity.
Salary Range - $70-$80k basic with competitive un-capped commission scheme
