Crown Worldwide Group are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their fast-paced Records Management Sales team.
Where you will be based
This role will be office based at our Enfield offices however will be field based covering the London region.
What is an Account Manager to us?
Generate profitable revenue through proactive identification, targeting and development of business opportunities from an assigned account base (book of business – BoB). Primarily gaining revenue growth from the core RM products, and consulting & software solutions, achieve agreed and targeted levels of BoB growth at acceptable margins.
In addition promote and cross sell other Crown WW service offerings, making key qualified appointments for other sales experts to attend and prospect including Crown Workspace, World Mobility, Crown Fine Art, Crown Relocations.
Market awareness and reporting on competitor activity will also form a key element of the role.
What you will do
BoB Management
- Proactively manage a portfolio of allocated accounts.
- Renegotiate, retain, and develop (expand) existing allocated accounts.
- Through scheduled and non-scheduled communication, establish each customer’s specific status with regards to products/services currently being used, including contacts, contract, SLA, volumes, rates etc with all potential future opportunities for development being logged and pursued accordingly.
- At every opportunity introduce RM sales managers and other Crown WW services into existing accounts for prospecting.
- Provide timely feedback and close the loop with lead generation activities.
- Prepare and implement an account plan for the BoB. This will be achieved through the principles of Key Account Management (KAM) by identifying clients’ requirements, establishing multiple levels of contact and promoting Crown services, if required, tailoring the service offering to meet customer’s needs as appropriate, finding and closing appropriate additional profitable revenue opportunities, and signing all customers to agreed contracts.
- Actively engage and work with the Customer Support team to ensure the delivery of non-sales/account growth activities.
General
- Input, update and maintain information held on the Dynamics CRM database, to optimise knowledge of progress, including current and future opportunities; keeping the status of quotes (pipeline management), contact details, contract management, and activity data, up to date.
- Prepare and submit formal proposals based on information gained from the client, and to ensure that quotations submitted adhere to published standards and formats, and the company’s quality procedures and contract terms are upheld.
- If necessary organise any customer/prospect planning meetings as requested by the client, escalating any feedback to the regional operation. Maintain appropriate records of agreed actions and implementation are tracked to completion.
- Facilitate the completion of the credit control checks on potential customers in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Ensure that health and safety requirements are fully considered which may require completing a risk assessment.
- To fully understand and adhere to ISO procedures, including the updating of all customer files, in a timely manner, and upon completion of agreed contracts, completion by the customer of service quality questionnaires.
- Comply with published authority limits, to ensure exposure to financial risk is avoided and revenue optimised.
- When required, attend team meetings and arranged training courses, in addition you may be required support and assist with the training of others depending on your own personal skills and knowledge.
- Actively take part and input to regular 1-2-1’s with your line manager, to review active opportunities, and to develop personal skills, capabilities, knowledge and experience.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have Account Management experience and sales experience in a B2B environment.
