Overview:

The Account Executive plays a vital within the Birmingham office. The has the responsibility for delivering content to both Jaguar and Land Rover websites, focusing on developing a strong user experience, alongside copy and imagery creation. In addition, it involves working with the wider account management team to ensure digital best practice.

The works with the Project Managers in the various functions, and in-market teams involved in the delivery ensuring each is aware of the tasks at hand and on-track for delivery. This begins by taking the brief from the client, turning this into a creative brief and managing the project through to completion. The Account Executive will also be required to accompany the Account Director by regularly presenting to the client project status and highlight any risks and mitigation of them along the lifetime of a project.

We develop highly creative work so as an Account Executive, you will need to have a keen sense of good, effective creative, and attention to detail. You will have an ability to build strong, trusted relationships with both internal teams and our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a relationship with day to day clients responsible for your projects
  • Deliver projects successfully – on time, on budget, on scope and to expected level of quality
  • Work with Project Managers to develop accurate timing plans for the delivery of projects
  • Responsible for accurate and honest reporting of the status of all project deliverables, and clear and accurate documentation of meetings/calls to define agreed decisions and actions
  • Understand Jaguar Land Rover brand principles and always deliver against them
  • The internal ‘single point of truth’ for the project
  • Use internal project tracking systems and monitor delivery against agreed SLA’s
  • Identify, communicate and manage the Critical Path on projects
  • Manage all stakeholders involved in delivery
  • Facilitate communication and build lasting relationships between all internal and external stakeholders
  • Write and present creative briefs as well as review creative work to ensure that it has met the client brief
  • Support wider members of the account team to ensure digital best practice across the Jaguar Land Rover websites

Person Specification

Experience/Skills:

  • Educated to graduate level or have equivalent marketing related work experience
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the world of marketing and digital communications, with a view to progressing a career in this field
  • Demonstrable experience of working in key advertising and marketing disciplines
  • Innovative and strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to judge client briefs and creative work against defined strategy and propositions
  • Flare for multi-tasking and handing a high volume of work efficiently and accurately
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Financial acumen including estimating and budget tracking
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for Mac
  • Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
