We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a well-established and growing Leominster client on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day accounts administration within a fast-paced manufacturing company. We are seeking an experienced individual with the knowledge and integrity to undertake this vital role and assist our client with their continued growth.
What you can expect:
- £22,000 - £25,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm, with an hour for lunch
- Discretionary bonus scheme
- 5% company pension contribution
What you will being doing:
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Posting of receipts to a debtors ledger
- Vendor payment
- Bank reconciliation
- Banking cheques and cash
- Payroll duties with full responsibility for monthly salaries and expectation to cover fortnightly payroll as required
- Pension administration
- Company car administration to include MOT, tax and driving licences
- General office duties to include filing, shredding and archiving
- Administration support for other departments as and when required including reception
What we are looking for:
- Previous accounting experience in a similar role is essential
- Payroll experience is essential
- Demonstrates self-discipline and an ability to prioritise own workload whilst working without supervision
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Maintain high levels of integrity at all times, honest and ethical
- A keen eye for detail, well organised and efficient
