The role:
This position will support the on going day-to-day operations of the Travel Retail channel, playing an integral part in enabling the execution of the total channel strategy and providing support to the Senior Global Account Manager. This is an end to end account management role that will include building and executing customer brand strategies, management of the customer P&Ls and building and maintaining strong relationships with designated customers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Manage a designated customer account including, driving sales, executing brand plans and managing the day to day operations and communication with select customers in Travel Retail, reporting back to the business where required
  • Present and sell in New Product Development (NPD) to designated accounts
  • Closely manage forecasting alongside the merchandising team, monitoring sales analysis and reporting and tracking sales vs forecast
  • Manage the staffing of the account, including developing and tracking staffing plans for locations, managing the designated staff budget, analysis of staff performance as well as managing ongoing communication and training for the team
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support the execution of brand strategies and new product launches, develop tools for the field team to optimise sales and maximise the range and planograms by location through regular range reviews and sales analysis
  • Take ownership of the 12 month rolling Travel Retail activation calendar
  • Provide general support surrounding visual merchandising briefs, organising events, managing accruals and invoices, as well as tester orders and management for the account for all Travel Retail customers
  • Please note, some travel will be required in this role

What you will need:

  • Degree level educated
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role, supporting a team
  • An understanding and keen interest in luxury beauty, with a commercial mindset
  • Experience within the retail environment, as well as working within a field team is highly desirable
  • Accountability of designated customer performance & ownership of sales budget
  • Strong communication skill and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and analyse sales data, along with a creative flair to generate and initiate ideas
  • A problem solving mindset, with strong initiative and a can-do attitude
