Juice is delighted to be supporting a leading organisation within the sports travel industry, in their search for an Accommodation and Ground Transport Coordinator to join their expanding team.
As a Coordinator you will be sourcing, procuring and delivering exceptional accommodation and ground transport services across our event portfolio, to deliver the most exciting and rewarding product experience. You will also work closely with chosen hotel and transport suppliers to build effective relationships that allow you to successfully co-ordinate service requirements for assigned events.
Main duties:
- Co-ordinating accommodation, meeting and events (M&E) and ground transport (coach, car, train) products for your assigned events
- Researching, sourcing and negotiating the best possible financial and contractual offers with our suppliers
- Researching and presenting product and destination information
- Proactively finding solutions to potential inventory and/or logistical issues
- Co-ordinating supplier contracts making timely decisions regarding payments, amendments, cancellations and or additional requirements
- Liaising with other members of the team and suppliers to help promptly address and answer queries from our customers to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Undertaking regular worldwide travel as required for the purposes of familiarisation and/or operational event delivery
Skills required:
- Experience in the accommodation industry, procurement and operational delivery would be ideal but it’s not essential
- A flexible, operationally minded person who’s highly organised with an interest in the travel industry
- A love for building effective relationships both within and outside of the business to help you achieve your aims and objectives
- A desire to negotiate with our suppliers to ensure the best possible outcome for our customers
- A great team player, happy to ‘help out’ in other areas that will only grow your experience and opportunities
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- A flexible approach to work and happy to work weekends and evenings, where required
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9.00-17.30, hybrid working 2-3 days in office
