Brief Description
To support the Access Planning team to develop the period possession plan, and co-ordinate operator response information to Rules of the Route.
About the role (External)
Key Accountabilities:
1. Produce documentation and communication during the Period Possession Plan process
2. Provide information to support the resolution of operator responses to the Rules of the Route
3. Assist with the process of notification of access easements to NDS planners
4. Investigate Network Access Unit QB delay incidents and keep supporting information for appropriate reports and KPIs.
5. Undertake the role in a way that is consistent with, and reinforces, Network Rails values.
Essential
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of access planning systems and processes.
- Proven experience in delivering to agreed timelines and standards
- Good communication skills and a customer focussed approach
Desirable
- Understanding of train service structure and commercial and practical implications of implementing changes to the timetable
