The Tesco Bank security operations team has grown significantly in recent years, to match the change in the cyber security landscape and the growing number and complexity of attacks that the Bank receives.
The Role
- Operate the Access Management & Fulfilment processes for Tesco Bank platforms, systems and applications, delivering services in a consistent manner to ensure the security levels of Tesco Bank are maintained.
- Assist users in defining access rights and privileges for various applications and operate agreed logical access controls.
- Liaise with business and technical managers to ensure Access Management & Fulfilment activity is undertaken within the defined timescales.
- Assist users with their Access Management & Fulfilment requests within our ServiceNow queues and ensure completion within defined SLAs.
- Assist in the management of the Fulfilment and Access Management mailboxes, ensuring a high level of customer service is adhered to.
- Prepare information for audit and assurance reviews as well as MI reporting.
- Conduct assurance control checks to ensure the accuracy of our processes, ensuring that all identified breaches and anomalies in access approvals and provisioning are promptly and thoroughly investigated, arranging for inappropriate access to be removed.
- Maintain and update process documentation where required.
- Communicate and engage with the business on a regular basis to provide assistance and guidance on the RBAC, JCL & UER processes.
- Use ServiceNow to review data, process requests, and maintain controls.
- Carry out ServiceNow testing activities on a regular basis.
- Work closely with our Bengaluru team on fulfilment requests and key activities
- Work with the Access Management manager and other analysts to help manage Tesco Bank’s Access Management processes, including RBAC and UER, in accordance with established Information Security Policy and the model of least privilege.
- Help maintain the integrity of the IT Role and RBAC data by providing guidance to the role owners/approvers across Tesco Bank, helping co-ordinate the review of user access within Tesco Bank to ensure colleagues have the right access to do their job.
- Work with the Fulfilment manager and offshore resource to help manage the fulfilment of IT access in Tesco Bank, in accordance with the RBAC process.

- Knowledge and technical capability in applying Information Security policies and standards to drive technical controls around Access Management and Fulfilment.
- Good analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse information and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels and to work with them to get the right result.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to use own initiative on key activities.
- Enthusiasm and passion to get the job done in a timely fashion and to a high standard.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Office365 products including a good knowledge of excel.
- Good information analysis skills with high attention to detail.
- Desirable – experience of compiling and producing reports and effective MI for senior management
- Desirable – knowledge of information security policies
- Desirable – experience of working in an IT/IS Operational role previously.#LI-KP1
