POST: Academic Coach of English
LOCATION: West Bromwich Collegiate Academy
GRADE: Band D SCP 9 - 17
SALARY: £20,160 - £23,437 per annum
HOURS: 37 Hours – Term Time Only

Fixed term until August 2023

We are looking for an Academic Coach of English Language and Literature.
You will be responsible for providing one-to-one and small group guidance and personalized instruction and teaching to students of all year groups, helping them improve their language skills and reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English education and a passion for helping students succeed. You should have a proven track record of success in working with students to improve their writing, reading, and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work collaboratively with academic staff to increase student attendance and attainment.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups within the English department.
- Work with teachers to support individual students to agree targets and action plans to improve the rate of progress being made in students’ learning in English and Literacy.
- Support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
