The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) delivers high quality and distinctive educational programmes for adult learners, predominantly studying on a part-time basis, for either personal enrichment or professional development. ICE aims to ensure that the expertise and resources of the University of Cambridge are made available to all students, irrespective of their previous educational achievements.
We wish to appoint two part time Academic Centre Administrators to work within ICE's Academic Centres, supporting the Heads of Academic Centre Administration, Academic Centre Coordinators, Academic Directors, Panel Tutors, students and applicants. The Academic Centre Administrator's provide effective administration of the course portfolio for the relevant Centre.
Please ensure that you state in the body of your application whether you are applying for the 0.75 or 0.60 FTE post, all positions are on a permanent basis. Some flexibility in working hours will be required during peak times (e.g. during residential teaching weeks, peak recruitment periods, open days or for key meetings).
You will have excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills with an innovative approach to developing and improving processes and delivery. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.
