At Arden University, we pride ourselves on being true innovators, disruptors and pioneers, our focus is to promote life-long learning and ensure that everyone, everywhere can access higher education. We are currently looking for an Academic Administrator to support our School of Psychology, with a particular focus on organising the workloads of the Academic Teams and data protection.

You will work closely with our Academic and Associate Lecturer teams to ensure all inductions and classes are covered within the teaching time allocated to staff, ensuring that all records are kept up to date and accessible to those who need it. Other administrative duties will include collecting and analysing information for reporting, supporting the onboarding of Associate Lecturers to the school, and arranging meetings and dealing with all associated paperwork. You will make sure that all administrative procedures comply with University policies and procedures and GDPR regulations.

About You:

You will need to have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Excel and Word, with experience of working with and analysing large amounts of data. You will need to be a skilled communicator who is comfortable liaising with diverse teams across the University, and have experience of supporting a senior team on a range of administrative tasks and functions. We are looking for a pro-active problem solver who thrives working on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment managing multiple commitments with conflicting deadlines. You will need to have good knowledge of GDPR regulations; work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
