You will be working as part of team to delivery excellent IT support to both office and home based employees.

Overall purpose;

Key responsibilities:

Execution of IT infrastructure strategy

The design, implementation of and management of IT infrastructure, including (but not limited to) laptops, desktops, thin client devices, routers and switches, firewalls, servers and cloud technologies
Ensure that business infrastructure is up to date, documented and regularly reviewed to establish if it is the best solution
Where applicable, provide justification for decisions made and ensure that they are in line with company requirements

Provide support to the business, including IT staff and end-users

Ensure that the IT department maintains a positive image within the business and ensure that staff feel confident in the service being provided
Support the IT Director by thoroughly researching and advising on any key changes, as well as providing support in making decisions on how to drive the business forward
To ensure all company values are upheld by IT staff
Liaise with third-party suppliers
To proactively monitor IT infrastructure and address any potential issues to avoid downtime
Define and uphold working standards with the IT department
Ensure the defined budget is adhered to and reduce stock expenditure where appropriate
Proactively encourage team cohesiveness, knowledge sharing and natural growth
Management of company assets and configuration
Ensure strong security protocols are adhered to within the business
Implement IT training on systems as required
Carry out any other duties, within reason, as defined by the IT Director
