Job description
Excavator Operator (360) – (Plymouth) – Fulltime
Long-term work is available for the right candidates with the correct cards and tickets who want a stable job and income for the foreseeable future.
PAYE basis
On Offer:
- Rate of Pay £18-21 per hour
- Monday – Friday – Flat rate for first 39 hours
- Time and a half after 39 hours
- Lodge or Mileage paid depending on the distance
- Pension

Overtime When Available:
- Saturday – First 4 hours, time and a half – after 4 hours double time
- Sunday – Double time
Candidates must have:
- Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of driving specific-size excavators.
- Experience and knowledge in all aspects of excavation, ducting, and drainage.
- Knowledge of the safe operation of the excavator including layout and operation of the controls.
- Carrying out risk assessments, understanding method statements, carrying out daily safety checks, and location of operator's manual.
- Reasonable level of work experience recorded within the CPCS logbook.
- Highly safety conscious
- Red/Blue CPCS card
- If lifting, must have lift operations on CPCS card
Preferred
- Driving license
- NVQ in excavation operations
- First aid at work
- Manual Handling
All Candidates will need to go through a 6 week boarding process including the checks seen below:
- DBS Basic Criminal record check
- 5 Year work history
- 3-year Address verification
- Reference checks
