Level 4 Digital Sales Apprenticeship

Job Responsibility
As a Business Development Representative you will identify opportunities though outbound calling, social selling (with an Social Selling Index of 70%+), and following up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads as appropriate to the sales strategy, with a 30% conversion rate. This process will involve engaging with customers’ buying centres and working with field Sales to engage with customers via the telephone and digitally. You will provide continuous support to clients’ sales teams to identify sales-ready opportunities, with a deep understanding of prospects’ business drivers and how Vodafone can bring value to them.
You will be working within the market and will be responsible for conducting pre-call research in order to build 2.5x pipeline on a monthly basis, ensuring that opportunities are followed up by sales reps and that they do not become stuck or stale during the sales cycle.
After the 18-month programme is complete, you’ll be a well-rounded Digital Sales professional with a:
o Level 4 Sales Professional Apprenticeship accredited by the Institute of Sales Professionals.
What you will need
- To be 18 years old or over as of 1 September 2023
- GCSE English & Maths at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualifications)
- 2 A Levels , gained by September 2023 (or equivalent qualifications in similar subjects)
- To be eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education
- To have lived in the UK and/or EU for three years or more
- You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree or masters in a similar subject).
- Identify & qualify Sales opportunities.
- Identify & manage customer requirements to ensure Field Sales can follow-up & close Sales opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with Field Sales to ensure revenue targets are delivered.
- Build & manage Sales pipeline to ensure a minimum of 4x Sales target.
- Work on Marketing-led initiatives to focus on key growth areas of Cloud, Unified Communications, Security and IoT.
