What are we offering?
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Industrial Trainee in the Water Team based in Inverness. The team is part of Mott MacDonald’s Water and Environment (WNE) Unit, which works on a wide range of projects for many of the UK water utility companies, as well as providing specialist consultancy services to regulated and industrial clients in the UK and overseas. You will join a dedicated team who strive to provide innovative solutions.
In the UK our services are predominantly design, either for the water and sewerage companies (WASCs) or for contractors employed by them.
We also supply a full range of management, regulation, procurement, project finance, consultancy and engineering services including preparing strategies and master plans in biosolids and water resources, asset management planning, civil, mechanical, electrical and water and wastewater process design, commissioning supervision and operation optimisation both in the UK and internationally.
Successful candidates would benefit from a placement of six to 12 months, during which they would have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects.
Over the course of this opportunity, you could be working with graduates, experienced professionals, and other students. Candidate Specification
To join us for an industrial trainee placement you must currently be at university, studying Civil Engineering,
You’ll be working with graduates, experienced professionals, and other students so a placement with us is the perfect opportunity to learn from a variety of people while understanding our values and culture. It’s also a great chance to get involved with real projects while gaining relevant experience.
We do not have a formal structure for our placements, so you can really make the role your own. The more you get involved and the more questions you ask, the more you will gain from your experience with us.
