Business management, administration and support
Type
Intern Analyst (Pipeline)
Application Deadline
28-Feb-2023
Your role
Do you have an affinity for researching and analysing complex information? You'll:
- analyse the fundamentals of companies and markets from websites, publications and our internal database
- create and update presentations based on existing research and ideas
- monitor events and developments in your global sector
- interact with colleagues, analysts and sales and help to prepare analysis
Your team
You’ll be working in the Group Research team, who analyse company financials, perform fundamental analysis and explore scenarios with the objective of making stock recommendation to professional investors like asset managers and fund managers. The team apply the right research instruments to deliver clear insights to their clients. Roles are primarily focused on a micro-level, working in sector teams covering companies, but we also have some potential opportunities working in a more macro-oriented framework. You’ll be able to draw on the strength of our platforms, products, services and people worldwide to deliver on your projects.
Your expertise
You need to be in the last two years of your degree. You need to have, or be on track for, a 2:1 or the equivalent in your first undergraduate degree. It doesn’t matter what you’re studying (really, it doesn’t). We would like to see evidence that you can
- analyse a problem, take a view and come to a decision
- plan, organize and communicate well
- stick with a task
- work in a team
- come up with ideas
Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how your achievements match the skills we are looking for.
Your Program
On this 10 week summer program, you’ll be a real part of the team, working with our experts and learning about the industry, our clients, our firm and a specific area of it. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts. And if you impress us, we might invite you to join our Graduate Talent Program once you’ve graduated.
