Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 5 Staff Nurse to work alongside the Cardiac Surgery Nurse Case Manager team. This is an ideal opportunity for those who have an interest in patient safety and want to further enhance their nursing knowledge and skills within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will support with the Cardiac review harm process.
The role will support the Nurse Case Managers team who cover telephone and face-to-face clinics which operate Mon – Fri within core hours.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will be responsible for contacting all patients on the cardiac Surgery waiting list and ensuring they have not had any symptom changes. You will be fully trained to complete the role and will be supported and based with the Nurse Case Managers (Cardiac Surgery)
- Support the day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure patient safety is maintained.
