Administrative Assistant/Trainee Container Control Clerk – based at Grangemouth, FK3 8XX

Salary: £22,000 a year – whilst undertaking training - Full-Time – Permanent – Mon-Fri

Eldapoint is one of the UK’s premier providers of empty container storage and repair facilities for the Shipping container Industry, including refrigerated container services, both in depot and at all major ports.

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Administrative Assistant/Training Container Control Clerk to provide support for our deport in Grangemouth.

This role combines the completion of administrative duties and a training programme to become a Container Control Clerk within the company, and the successful candidate will receive full on-site training.

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • To provide administrative assistance and support to the depot
  • To deliver the highest level of customer service at all times
  • Answer telephone enquiries, respond to emails, complete data entry and filing
  • Communicate effectively at all levels within the company
  • Meet deadlines and respond to changing situations
  • Comply with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments.
  • Any other general ad hoc administrative/office duties
  • Development training for the role of Container Control Clerk

Person Specification:

  • Experienced in office-based work environments, preferably in a technical (engineering) industry
  • Previous customer service experience advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, with exceptional attention to deal
  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Ability to adapt to various work tasks and respond to changing situations
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team within in a very busy environment
  • To work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be IT literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
