About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Helpdesk Coordinator to work at our warehouse in Elstree.
Main duties will include assisting and supporting the Laboratory Support Teams in the provision of a managed service that will ensure efficient and effective use of laboratory facilities. You will be part of a team that aims to deliver on an optimum configuration of Rapid Response Laboratory and Core Laboratory facilities., by reducing facility downtime you will contribute to a robustness of service that will ultimately improve patient pathways.
Other duties include ensuring all queries from Laboratories or Laboratory Support teams are tracked and prioritised for action, provide overall assistance to the Laboratory support teams as a central helpdesk and provide training to all new laboratory support staff in standard operating processes
The laboratory operates a 7 days per week service so the successful candidate will be expected to participate in shifts to cover this time frame.
