This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a medical receptionist and be part of an integrated primary care, health, housing and social work team working together to improve the lives of homeless people who have complex needs.
As Medical Receptionist your duties will include:
- Participation in a weekly rota covering reception
- Answering phones; clinical filing and general admin
- Ensure standards of patient/carer confidentiality are maintained
- Support clinical staff on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of clinical services
- Liaise with external agencies and ensure effective and efficient communication at all times
- Contribute positively to the support provided to the service users of Edinburgh Access Practice and The Access Place in a trauma-informed way
To support you in your work you will have the opportunity to engage in weekly mindfulness sessions and reflective practice.
