The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing six secondary schools, 13 primary schools, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, North Warwickshire and Coventry.
A vacancy for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant has arisen within our Multi Academy Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and outstanding practitioner to support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills.
The role is to support a pupil with ADHD, significant learning needs and emotional dysregulation who has recently received an EHCP across the school day.
The areas of support include:
ADHD, significant learning needs, conduct difficulties and oppositional defiant disorder.
The role includes providing support across the school day including both structured and unstructured times and supporting with intimate care needs.
The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo providing interventions for literacy, maths and speech, language and communication needs as well as targeted support for SEMH and sensory needs.
