We are Sense Get Out There (GOT) Service, a high quality community care service in Smethwick, Sandwell who are passionate about supporting children and young adults.
We’re seeking to recruit a Support Worker on a part time basis. We have contracts available working between 4-10 hours per week on Saturdays and we would like someone with the right values and behaviours to work in our bespoke service.
. Our Get Out There (GOT) Group service supports children and young people with their social programme of activities.
As a Support Worker, you will be working with a fantastic team, supporting each other, sharing ideas and providing a good support network for families.
You don’t need to have previous care experience, nor do you need care qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker, we will provide you with all the training you may require.

To support individuals / groups within the centre and community.
To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
Full job specification is attached below. Your required skills and experiences:
A full UK license and must be willing/able to drive your own vehicle is essential.
Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is desirable ( BSL / Makaton etc.)
You will need to have a qualification in Health and Social Care and an understanding of Safeguarding and the ability to work alone
