The postholder will have the responsibility for effectively and continuously line managing a variety of frontline teams, primarily in street cleansing and waste collection. These teams deliver critical services for the Council and are relied upon by residents and businesses throughout the County. The postholder will ensure all work allocated to the waste and street Scene teams is completed to a high standard and services operated safely.
The postholder will have a crucial role in the deployment and organisation of resources on a daily basis responding to issues across their teams, in real time to minimise the impact on service delivery. The postholder will play a key role in operational management with the safe and compliant deployment of the Operator Licence Goods vehicles
The postholder is a key member of the management team and will take the lead on key decisions, when services operate outside of traditional core hours
