Youth Worker
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part time and full time roles up to 37 hours per week available, please state on the application form the number of hours you are applying for.
Location: Thetford or Norwich
Salary: Starting salary £27,435 per annum pro rata with incremental progression based on performance to £29,499 per annum pro rata

MAP is looking for a Youth Worker to join a highly motivated team to provide opportunities to young people to facilitate their personal and social development. You will work, develop and deliver a programme of activities which may include one-to-one support and group work. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting the interests of vulnerable young people, facilitating participation opportunities and creating inclusive environments.
As a youth worker at MAP, you can expect to work on a range of projects at different times. You will likely contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects in a range of locations as our team delivers a new strategic plan, establishing an equitable set of youth work services across Norfolk. You will need to be able and willing to travel to involve and engage young people.
